Three roads allow you to view part of the water and bordering fields
- Tetton Lane - small pull-in gives views of small pool on one side of the road and a marshy area on the other side - SJ715632

- Green Lane - small pull-in near the flash but depending on the time of year, views are restricted by roadside vegetation - SJ719614

hardcore off road parking ( aka Red Shale car park ) where road crosses the canal. Walk under bridge north for elevated views of vegetation on both sides of the canal

Larger, fished water with reed beds, viewable from both north and south of the water but restricted access due to fishing activity. Gated car park is for fishermen only, please park sympathetically where allowed. The footpath to the north can also be productive
